Chubb’s Life + LTC benefit offers a dual advantage by combining life insurance with living benefits for long-term care (LTC). This policy provides coverage not only for a death benefit but also for custodial care needed for daily activities such as transferring, eating, bathing, and dressing. Although long-term care is frequently associated with aging, it can also be necessary after serious accidents or severe cognitive impairments. Given that most Americans will require long-term care at some point and with healthcare costs rising, planning ahead is essential. The Chubb LifeTime Benefit Term is designed to provide comprehensive support for you and your family throughout your life.
Annual Enrollment
Annual enrollment for this benefit takes place each spring. The February 17 – March 17, 2026 enrollment window has now closed.
This voluntary benefit from GUAdvantage is available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff working 30+ hours per week. No health questions are required (based on plan design and age), providing guaranteed access to coverage for faculty and staff ages 19–70.
