In Daring to Thrive, we believe that personal and communal well-being go hand-in-hand, and that everyone is a leader—because each of us shapes the culture around us. These offerings are a chance to gather, practice, learn, grow, and bring what we learn back into our departments, homes, and communities.
Programming
Daring to Thrive is an innovative wellness and leadership programming experience for faculty and staff within the Georgetown University community. It emphasizes that everyone is a leader and has the potential to impact culture, both at the University and in the greater community. It is designed to augment the University’s efforts and commitment to deepening its culture of wellness across the University. It equips faculty and staff with an experiential and learning environment to build their knowledge base, leadership presence, and mindset to enhance the culture of wellness with their colleagues, their teams, and our society. This program stresses that personal wellness and community wellness go hand-in-hand and are both necessary for the evolution of our workplaces, community, and world.
