At-Home Over-The-Counter COVID-19 Tests

Georgetown University employees can go online, or to a pharmacy or store to purchase an at-home over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 diagnostic test authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at no cost. Up to 8 tests per month for each individual on the plan are reimbursable or free of charge through medical or pharmacy insurance. Employees enrolled in either the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) or CareFirst (CF) medical plans will have the cost of OTC at-home COVID-19 tests covered under their CVS Caremark pharmacy benefit. For Kaiser members, tests are covered under their medical plan. Free test kits are also available through the Federal Government at covidtests.gov.

CVS Pharmacy has launched a digital point-of-sale (POS) solution to enable individuals to quickly search for available OTC COVID-19 tests. Individuals can enter their pharmacy benefit information, place an order and pick up from a nearby store.- Learn about At-Home Tests through CVS Caremark
