Special Voluntary Retirement Program for Staff and AAPs of Georgetown University

The University is providing a Special Voluntary Retirement Program for Staff and Academic & Administrative Professionals of Georgetown University (the “Staff SVRP”) in 2020.

This program is a one-time offering that provides a Special Benefit that will commence on November 1, 2020 for eligible staff and AAPs who participate under the Original Timeline or on November 18, 2020 for those who apply under the Extended Timeline. 

The Special Benefit is a continuation of salary and benefits for a period of time based on years of eligible service (Special Pay Period). The minimum Special Pay Period is six months. At the conclusion of the Special Pay Period retirement and retiree benefits will commence.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, September 25, 2020 (Extended Timeline). Eligible staff and AAPs received an email that includes the link to the online application on July 27, 2020 and August 31, 2020.
