Special Voluntary Retirement Program

For Staff and AAPs of Georgetown University

Georgetown University is offering a one-time Special Voluntary Retirement Program (Staff SVRP) in 2025 for eligible Staff and Academic & Administrative Professionals (AAPs). This program supports those considering retirement by providing at least six months of salary and benefits without work obligations to ease the transition.

Participation is entirely voluntary. Eligible employees will receive an email with a link on November 18, 2024 to the online application. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, January 10, 2025. Submitting an application does not commit employees to the program or to retirement.
