Special Information about TAP and the Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE)

Courses at the Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) are non-credit-bearing and thus affect total TAP balance more dramatically than credit-bearing courses at GU.

Because CCPE courses are non-credit, we use a formula that converts the tuition cost of the course into equivalent TAP credit hours. These equivalent credit hours are then applied to your lifetime TAP maximum. If you plan to take both a degree program (undergraduate or graduate) and course at CCPE, carefully consider your educational needs and total TAP balance.

Staff using benefits for programs at the Georgetown University Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) should note that applications for TAP benefits must be submitted a minimum of 14 business days before the CCPE program start date to allow time for review and processing.

All withdrawals and refunds are subject to CCPE Refund and Withdrawal Policies. Please contact the School of Continuing Studies for further details.
