Special Voluntary Early Retirement Program for Faculty of Georgetown University
As part of the continuing effort to allow faculty and the University to plan for retirement at Georgetown University, the University is providing a Special Voluntary Early Retirement Program for Faculty of Georgetown University (the “Special Buyout Program”) in addition to the standing Voluntary Phased Retirement Program for Tenured Faculty of Georgetown University (the “Phased Retirement Program”) in 2020.
This is a one-time offering that provides a Special Buyout payment and certain additional benefits to faculty who participate and retire on August 25, 2020, or, at the discretion of the Program Administrator, up to August 25, 2021. The Special Buyout Program is only available to eligible faculty. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. (EST) on Monday, June 22.
